I was lucky enough to have been sent a paperback copy by the publisher and whilst the book is truly a thing of beauty, my eyesight is not the best and I’ve struggled with the small print. I was very young child in 1966 but ever since I was old enough to read ‘proper books’, I’ve been aware of this book and its classic status. 2016 marks the 50th anniversary since Valley of the Dolls was first published.
